Goals (off ice only): Complete my undergraduate studies, live in Milan/Europe at some point in my life, become fluent in two languages.

When and how did you start skating?: I started skating at age 3 in hockey skates because my dad would flood our backyard and create an ice rink. My sister and I would make up programs to all sorts of music and we would skate like no one was watching. I transitioned to figure skates when I was eight and began taking private lessons when I was about 9.

What is your favorite thing about skating?: My favorite aspect of skating is definitely the way in which the ice allows you to move. It enables you to express yourself and at moments feel as if you are flying.

What is your local favorite thing about skating?: The rules
