Skate Canada!!!!! I almost don’t need a journal entry for this event; I think the media seemed to cover this one quite a bit! This event was the only one this season that I was able to have some type of planning for. My mom, Julie, and I were to leave Detroit airport on Tuesday afternoon and arrive in Newfoundland at 11pm. The hurricane (Wilma) moved up the Atlantic coastline a little faster than we expected, so our flights on Tuesday were cancelled, because we were to fly through Newark’s airport. Hi everyone! I am so far behind again in writing my journal; I thought that I would have a few free moments, but my season is beginning to look a lot like last year’s, so I will try to highlight a few of my summer activities. In early June, I began choreography with Theresa on my new long and short programs. Even now the choreography seems to be continually changing almost weekly as new information comes to us about the new judging system.
