Alissa is known for choosing music that will highlight her elegant skating style. Her programs for the 2011-12 season are choreographed by Pasquale Camerlengo and Yuka Sato. Choreographers she has worked with previously include Rene Roca (2010), David Wilson and Lori Nichol.
