:: Notes ::

Louann began skating at the age of six.  Her first experiences on the ice were with an all boys hockey team.

She wanted to start figure skating after she watched Nancy Kerrigan's performance at the 1992 Olympic Games.  Shortly after she started group lessons at the Stoneham Arena in Nancy's home town, which was close to Louann's house.  Louann was coached for many years (until the spring of 2003) by Nancy's former coaches, Evy and Mary Scotvold.

Louann goals include representing the United States in international competitions and competing at the Olympics.

Just before the 2002 Junior Nationals, Louann was selected as one of Unseen Skaters "10 to Watch in 2002."
