Elaine (Duncan) Achenbach joined Figure Skaters Online in June 2005 to work with pair team Julia Vlassov and Drew Meekins, who have since dissolved their partnership. She currently oversees the official Web site of Kiri Baga.

A former competitive figure skater from Southern California, Lanie also takes on administrative duties at Figure Skaters Online, including proofing new athlete Web sites before they are released to the public. She also copyedits news stories.

Lanie married her longtime sweetheart, David, in 2009.
