Olympic Champion Evan Lysacek will make his dancing debut tonight on ABC’s Dancing with the Stars. He and partner Anna Trebunskaya, a Russian dancing pro who has finished as high as second place in previous seasons, are vying for the Mirror Ball trophy.<\/p>\n

“After all of the practice, I am so ready to get out there and compete,” said Lysacek, who withdrew from this week’s World Championship in Torino, Italy.<\/p>\n

“Learning to dance has been really challenging for me because it’s actually a lot different than skating. It’s a lot harder than I thought it would be,” he said. “Everyone was telling me that I would naturally be good at it because I’m a skater but that’s not really the case. Luckily, Anna is an amazing teacher so it’s been a great experience.”<\/p>\n
