Photo by Getty Images via Grand Prix Barcelona Twitter.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Due to the recent attacks in Paris, the 2015 Troph\u00e9e Eric Bompard in Bordeaux, France, has been cancelled.<\/p>\n<p>The Minister of Interior Affairs of France, Bernard Cazeneuve and the Mayor of Bordeaux, Alain Juppe, informed the French Federation of Ice Sports that the competition at the ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating event, Troph\u00e9e Eric Bompard in Bordeaux, has to be cancelled due to the state of emergency and national mourning days in France.<\/p>\n<p>The International Skating Union (ISU) has acknowledged the decision.<\/p>\n<p>The International Skating Union and the French Federation of Ice Sports express their deepest sympathy to the victims of the despicable terrorist attacks in Paris on November 13.<\/p>\n<p>Bordeaux is located more than 5 hours south of Paris. U.S. Figure Skating tweeted out Friday night that their delegation in Bordeaux is safe.
