Haydenettes win their 28th U.S. title

The Haydenettes captured their 28th U.S. title at the 2020 U.S. Synchronized Skating Championship in Providence, Rhode Island Feb. 29. The team that represents the Hayden Figure Skating Club in Lexington, Mass., will represent the U.S. in the ISU World Synchronized Championships in Lake Placid, April 3-4. The team finished in 6th place at last year’s world synchronized championships in Helsinki, Finland.

 

The Skating Club of New York’s Skyliners, who won their third consecutive U.S. silver medal, will also represent the U.S. at the ISU World Synchronized Championships in Lake Placid. The team finished in 8th place at the 2019 World Synchronized Championships.

 

Miami University, who finished second in the free skate and finished in fourth place in Providence, has been selected as the first alternate team for the World Synchronized Championships. The Crystallettes, who won the bronze medal in Providence, are the second alternate team. Adrian College finished fifth in the senior competition.
