Chinese Figure Skating Association has informed the ISU that the 2022 Four Continents Championships, scheduled to take place in Tianjin, China has been cancelled due to the logistical challenges (travel restrictions, quarantine requirements, etc.) of hosting this event in China during the pandemic.
The ISU is hoping to continue with the event and is asking all interested ISU members to send applications to host the event Jan. 17-22, 2021. The ISU will make a decision on the event during its next meeting on Oct. 1, 2021.
