With the new season only months away, 2010 Four Continents Champion Adam Rippon launched a redesigned AdamRippon.com website with new features, including an expanded news page and fan zone. Rippon has had an official site, in cooperation with Figure Skaters Online, since 2006.
Rippon is a two-time World Junior Champion, claiming the gold medals in 2007 and 2008. After enormous success in international junior competition, the 2009-10 season was Adam’s breakthrough in the senior ranks. He won a bronze medal at Trophée Eric Bompard on the Grand Prix circuit and claimed gold at the ISU Four Continents Championships—coming from seventh place in the short program to take the title with an incredible free skating performance.
He wrapped up his season with a strong six-place finish at the 2010 World Championships, his debut at the event. He credits his years on the junior circuit with preparing him to tackle the pressures of competition.
Although Rippon, who trains in Toronto, Canada, always fine-tunes his objectives and sets short-term and long-term goals, Rippon’s plans for the 2010-11 season are simple. “Hopefully make an even bigger impact next year.”
Fans can also access his website at http://www.figureskatersonline.com/adamrippon/.
