2013 World Junior men’s champion Joshua (Josh) Farris has launched a redesigned website at www.figureskatersonline.com/
Farris is a three-time U.S. senior men’s competitor at the National Championships and achieved his best result to date in 2013, winning the pewter (fourth place) medal. He a multiple U.S. national champion at the juvenile (2006), intermediate (2008) and novice levels (2009), as well as the 2010 U.S. junior silver medalist. In his junior international career, he won a total of 5 Junior Grand Prix gold medals and qualified for the ISU Junior Grand Prix Final three times, medaling twice (silver in 2012, bronze in 2011). He claimed the silver medal at the 2012 ISU World Junior Championships before striking gold this past season.
Farris, 18, trains at the World Arena in Colorado Springs, Colo., and represents the Broadmoor Skating Club. He is coached by Damon Allen and Christy Krall, and participates in choreographing his own programs with Allen.
Farris began his season last month by winning the bronze medal in his senior international debut at the 2013 U.S. International Figure Skating Classic in Salt Lake City, Utah. Following Skate Canada International, he is scheduled to compete at Rostelecom Cup, the sixth stop in the ISU Grand Prix series, Nov. 22-24, in Moscow, Russia.
